We are developing a new work planning and management system for a Facilities Organization. We will be implementing central work schedules and developing written maintenance performance standards and procedures.

The e-training provides an excellent introduction to the Balanced Scorecard. It links the Scorecard to business goals and strategic objectives and provides an overview on implementation of the scorecard process. I found modules four and five were somewhat ambiguous and difficult to relate too. The development of partnerships and holding multiple events did not seem to tie back to a business goal – grow market share to; increase distribution channels; increase orders; etc. The conclusion and summary module did tie the different modules together and provide a good review of the BSC process.
